UPDATE: JUNE 9 2006

Alright folks, found out that this is going to be a helluva busier month than I had originally thought so I decided I'm going to extend the contest date for another month.

ALSO, I decided I'm not going to judge the entries when it finally comes round to that time, so I'm probably just going to put it to a vote in the end, open to both you entrants and other peoples here in DA. Uuhhh...I think that's it. Yell at me if I forgot anything.

xXpointr:THE CONTEST:
Finally, I settled upon two ideas and decided I’m going to hold my contest here and now I want to get as many entries as possible, so make sure to tell your friends and your friends friends and well, the whole world lol

xX|RULES FOR CONTEST:
Well, I decided I’m going to hold two contests at once.

The rules for my two contests are as follows,

1. Each entrant is allowed up to 2 entries

2. All images/characters in my gallery are copyrighted, so this contest does not give you the right to use any of my characters any where else.

3. Any entries must link back to my deviantart account and state that they are part of this contest.

4. Any entry that is submitted without the above rule (#3) will not be submitted into the contest.

5. No poetry or prose please

6. Photography 'is' allowed, but you'd have to be pretty darn creative Basically any medium is permitted.

xX| JUDGING AND SUBMISSION:
All entries will be left to a vote in the end. Entrants are allowed to vote and I will be scowering DA for other peoples who wish to vote on their fave from each contest. Also, I will fave each and every single entry and try to leave a long, lengthy, "I love you to death..." type comment

xX|CONTEST #1 - Draw Megs' Character(s):

The most original idea ever!

For this, you have a choice between three of my luverly anthro characters, AshPaw, GoldenKlaw and Stripher. You can draw them however you want both media wise (traditional, digital, etc) and style wise (anime, manga, etc), in any type of setting you want (past, present, future, beach, mall, parking lot...ANYTHING ), and have them doing anything you want...with of course the exception of anything utterly and completely pornographic. If DA accepts it, then it should be accepted here

You can draw them individually, or put two together in one image, or all three of them in one image. But remember, only two entries are allowed overall so make each of your entries count.

NOTE: In their reference sheets, they have no clothes (tee hee), that is because I want you to come up with outfits for them. I got sick of people drawing the same outfit that I had my characters in a long time ago...

Also, I don't mind if you want to throw some of your characters or even yourself into the drawing...practically anything goes (as I've mentioned earlier) for this contest.

Some random facts about AshPaw:
Well, she's me basically, usually happy go lucky and bouncy , yet has major moodswings during the day (sad but true ) Usually wears black, luvs gothic style and wears glasses...although you don't have to add them...I didn't Enjoys drawing and listens to bunches of music, while bugging the crap out of everyone around her. I'm annoying...there.

Some random facts about GoldenKlaw:
Yes, that is a capitol 'K' in her name. This Tigress/Wolf mix is moody practically all of the time and is usually only happy when she's running free...or when she's with Tigrer, but we won't get into that She has the gift of blue fire and her eyes change to a red color when she gets angry. She's a warrior, but she's also a princess back on her home planet ( I really need to get back to writing the story again) The scythe in ref pics #3 is her favorite weapon usually, she named it...darn...I forgot... She's usually wearing dark colors, usually black (sarcasm: she doesn't reflect me in any way, really!) and luvs wearing stripey socks and fishnet

Character 3. Stripher

Some random facts about Stripher:
Well, he's GoldenKlaw's adopted brother, Mikhal and Neela (GK's dad and mom) took Stripher in when his mother was killed in a random attack against their village. GK and Stri are really close, they've been through a lot together although they still have the occasional fights like any siblings would Stripher is a quiet Tiger, not easily angered, but when he does get angry his eyes turn red like GoldenKlaw's. He has only one wing, the other was ripped off in the attack in which his mother died. He's a bit of a loner, but has a good time when he's hanging out with friends. Stripher is a warrior as well and usually fights with either his paws or an axe (are their different kinds?). Stripher likes wearing anything really, or at least that's what I'm going to put down now because I haven't given it much thought

xX|CONTEST #2 - Draw Image Based on Song:

This type of contest has been done before, I know, but I thought it was such an awesome idea

Well, for this one, you basically pick a song that you really really love, then illustrate it. For example, the song 'The World is Over' by Bif Naked...

1. You would post the lyrics (or section of lyrics) to the song in your description...

I saw a girl just the other day
With a pink umbrella in the pouring rain
Makeup running all down her face
But tears in the rain are such a waste

2. Then, your image might be something like this...

Basically, pick a song, draw what it means to you. Yesh.
